Social Transmission Agency (STA) Making a Difference in the Fight against COVID-19 in Churachandpur

Social Transmission Agency (STA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. The agency has been established to transmit development to society by introducing new policies of the farming system instead of the traditional method. It also works towards the upliftment of the poorer section of rural Churachandpur District. It aims to develop sustainable livelihood and income.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, STA has been active and taking part wherever necessary. Some of the activities done by the Agency are:
1. Preparation of Home-made Hand Sanitizers


2. Free distribution of Hand Sanitizers at Public Places, CQCs, Govt. Offices, etc.




3. Free Distribution of PPEs to Sanitation Workers at Chiengkonpang Village


4. Awareness Campaign in Collaboration with District Health Society at Thingkeu PHSC Covering 11 Village


5. Awareness Campaign in Collaboration with District Health Society at Santing PHSC Covering 18 Village


6. Awareness Campaign in Collaboration with District Health Society at Henglep PHSC Covering 17 Village


7. Awareness Campaign in Collaboration with District Health Society at Phaibong PHCS Covering 13 Village


Social Transmission Agency (STA) as an organisation has always been ready to lend a helping hand to the needy and anyone in times of crisis. And, it will continue to work towards the betterment and upliftment of the society.
